Privacy Policy

This website is run by Jyanti Maingi, an independent coach and trainer based in Gurugram, Haryana, India. I decide why and how your information is used. You can reach me at jyantimaingi@gmail.com or on +91 98710 00302.

Enquiries and messages. When you use a form, email or WhatsApp, I receive your name, contact details, your organisation if you give it, and your message. I use it to reply and to follow up on your request.

Bookings. When you book a session, I receive your name, email, phone number, the time you choose and any note you add. I use it to run the session and to send confirmations and reminders.

Payments. Payments are handled by Razorpay (in India) and PayPal (internationally). I receive confirmation that a payment was made, the amount and a reference. Your card, UPI or bank details stay with the payment provider.

Courses. When you enrol, I keep your account details, the courses you hold and your progress, so that you can continue where you left off.

Self-assessment. Your answers are used to prepare your reflection. If you share your email to receive it, I may link your answers to your contact record.

Newsletter. If you subscribe, I keep your email and the date you agreed, and use them only to send what you signed up for.

Under the DPDP Act, I process your information with your consent, or for legitimate uses such as responding to a request you made. Under the GDPR, my bases are your consent (for example the newsletter), performance of a contract (for example a booking or course), my legal obligations (for example tax records) and my legitimate interest in replying to enquiries and keeping this website secure.

I use privacy-friendly analytics that count visits through cookie-free methods and stay within this website. Your visit stays on this site, so a cookie banner is unnecessary. If you sign in to a course area, a small essential cookie keeps you signed in. It is removed when you sign out or it expires.

Videos from Instagram and LinkedIn load only when you choose to play them. Once you do, those platforms may collect information under their own policies. Links to my social profiles take you to those platforms.

Your information is shared solely with people and services that help me run this website: web hosting, email delivery, calendar and scheduling, and payment providers. They may use your information only to provide their service to me. Your information stays with me and these providers, and is used solely to deliver my services.

I am based in India, and the service providers I use may store information on servers in India or in other countries. Where information leaves your country, I rely on providers that protect it with appropriate safeguards.

I keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose you gave it, and for as long as the law requires. Accounting records are kept for the period Indian law requires. Newsletter details stay until you unsubscribe. You can ask me to delete other information sooner.

What you share in a coaching conversation stays private. I follow the ICF Code of Ethics, within the limits that the code and the law describe.

I use secure connections, restricted access, hashed passwords and trusted providers to protect your information. Every system carries some risk, so I keep these safeguards under review. If a breach ever affects you, I will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

You may ask me to:

• show you the information I hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong or out of date
• erase your information
• stop using it, or withdraw a consent you gave
• nominate someone to exercise these rights for you (under the DPDP Act)
• give you your information in a portable format (under the GDPR)

Every newsletter includes a link to unsubscribe. Emails about your booking, payment or course are service messages and continue while the service is active.

My services are for adults aged 18 and over. I collect information from adults aged 18 and over only.

If I change how I use your information, I will update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes, I will tell you directly where I can.
